Russell - Saw the top gear, yeah - think they must have seen what I did and copied it. Also, let's face it, if we just get on a real plane we'd be there in under a day. And hopefully not fly into any trees en route.

There are a couple of universal joints in the Ashby basement. Get Maurice to make you up a nice shiny aluminium shaft and some flanges and on you're on your way. Should only take a lunchtime ;)

Did you see the Bolivia special of Top Gear before Christmas? I ask only because Richard Hammond did the same, shortly before wrecking his car on a big sand dune. I hope this does not portend your experience.
